Writing Emotions: Joy

About the event
A Crash Course in... Writing Emotions is a monthly series including four separate events: Writing Fear, Writing Joy, Writing Grief and Writing Compassion. Each session will approach the emotion from multiple angles, including practice, craft, genre, and concrete, sensory description.
Writing Joy will look at how we bring joy into our practice and process, but will also delve into how we can explore joy in our writing, by experimenting with embodiment and elements of the Romance genre.
Writing Joy is host by KR Moorhead and features Special Guest Facilitator Meg Max of Writers in Bloom.
Meg is a Queer artist and mother living on the unceded lands of the Algonquin Anishnaabe people. Her award-nominated writing has been published throughout North America. She is the founder of Writers in Bloom, a writing community for sensitive souls that centers and celebrates neurodivergent, mad and chronically ill writers and artists, like herself. Right now she's hard at work making tiny books and writing a romance novel.
