About the event

This weekly hour of communal writing practice is a cross between the London Writers Salon open writing hour and Natalie Goldberg's 'writing marathons'. The hour is broken down into a 10-minute, a 15-minute and a final 20-minute sprint, with check-ins between. Use the given prompts or work on your own project. Great for body doubling and accountability.

Please note, the opportunity to check in between sprints will be open to everyone, but there is no pressure to share if you do not want to. Participants can attend on or off camera. Chat function and closed captions are always available.

Writing Sprints are open to ANY writer of any experience level - including writers of all races, genders, sexualities and abilities. It is also an offshoot of FLUX: Trans* Writers Circle and is therefore a trans* and neurdivergent centred space. Please read the FLUX Community Statement before attending.
